I am so glad you found me! I’m Meggie, a mom, teacher, and travel enthusiast. I currently have no less than 10 different trips in some stage of the planning process. For fun. What can I say, I love a good family vacation!
I also actually travel as well. My family and I are working our way to each of the National Parks in the US, so we often try to work in a park or two when we travel. I’ve personally visited 29 states, 29 national parks, and 16 countries, hoping to visit many more with my family.
So here we are – I created Parks Family Travel to help others create meaningful travel experiences for their families. It is meant to be a resource for all things family vacations, national parks, travel planning, and the like.
A little about me…I’m a former middle school social studies teacher and mom to three kids.
I grew up in Southern California and had brief stints in Hawaii, DC, and Spain. For now, I’ve landed in beautiful Utah and love exploring the diverse terrain around me.
Creating memorable family experiences doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg and I’m passionate about making travel and family adventures as accessible as possible. There is so much to see in our big, beautiful world and that includes so many places in your own backyard.
If you’re new to travel or simply dislike the travel planning process, I recommend my CustomTravel Planning services. Let me handle the stress of research, budgeting, and activity planning so you can truly enjoy your time with your family.
If you prefer the DIY method, check out my family travel planning course – the Family Travel Framework. Here I cover everything you need to know when it comes to planning your next family vacation. With in-depth slides and videos, a comprehensive workbook, and community membership, you can get all the help you need to succeed!
If you’re looking for information on National Parks travel, check out upcoming blog posts where I will do deep dives into several National Parks including hiking, accommodations, and activities for kids. I’ve also written several downloadable guides with all that information in one place. You can find them in my store.
Again, welcome to Parks Family Travel. I can’t wait to see where it takes you! Feel free to contact me here with any questions.
